Sakthi Civil & Structural Consultancy Pvt Ltd was founded in 2009 as a Civil & Structural Consultancy firm by Colonel P Nallathambi, an Indian Army Officer, who has creative professional knowledge with 21 years of rich experience in Army Engineering Department and Military Engineering Service (MES) and 6 years of construction industrial experience such as Combat Engineer, Structure Designer, Project Manager and Resource Planner.

DR. Colonel. P. Nallathambi, graduated from the Prestigious College of Engineering, Guindy in 1985, obtained his masters in Structural Engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore in 1988 and completed Ph.D in Structural Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy Anna University in 2017. He joined the Indian Army in 1988 and commissioned in to Corps of Engineers. He has vast experience in Earthquake Resistant Design, PEB and Steel Design, Pre-Cast and Pre-Stressed Concrete Design. He has designed large number of Low & High Rise Buildings, Schools, Hotels, Multipurpose Structures, Hangars and Industrial Structures, Townships, Roads, Bridges, Sewage Scheme, Hospital Buildings etc in MES and outside.

He teaches subjects such as Structural Dynamics, Earthquake Engineering, Advance Concrete Technology, Computer Aided Design and Repairs & Rehabilitation of RCC Structures for UG and PG students. He provides training to BE, ME and fresher on Structural Design, Estimation and Project management. He has analysed the Stability of Mullai Periyar dam and submitted the report to Senior Engineer PWD Association. He assists many firms and institutions for their improvement and provides technical solutions and has wide contacts across government departments, technocrats, corporate and well-known people. He is assisted by a strong team of qualified engineers for design and estimation work. He has also carried out many project management consultancy for various organizations.

He is a member and closely associated with many institutions such as Fellow of Institute of Engineers, Fellow of Institute of Valuers, Indian Concrete Institute, Builders Association of India, Fellow of Association of Consulting Civil Engineers, Fellow of Indian Association of Structural Engineers and so on. He writes articles regularly in Kattumana Poriyalar¸ Kattumana Thozhil and Builders Voice Magazines and shares his valuable experience which he has gained in construction industry. He also delivers guest lectures to various educational Institutions and Civil Engineering associations.
